I have used a high-end salmon oil before and we had some stomach issues with it, it was expensive and I just didn't notice a difference. But let me tell you...I started noticing a huge difference quickly with one of our shepherds. She had just weaned a litter of pups and as many may know, they lose a lot of fur and sometimes just don't look that great. She looks amazing now and is softer than ever. Case #2- I have a Czechoslovakian Vlcak whose coat has always felt like a brillo pad, well no more! He is softening up and doing great. He is a tough one because he has a VERY delicate tummy. I also have a black and tan German Shepherd that is fed well and just has never had a shine to him, well he does now. Our other black and tan has always looked like smooth shiny black velvet. He is starting to look like her. I also give it to our other two Czech Vlcak females and our tiny, tiny 3-pound chorkie who has never had a good coat bless her heart. She is starting to get some new growth in and starting to shine as is our chubby little Boston Terrier. And I love the fact that this is just salmon oil! That's it, no other nasty or useless ingredients. So you see, I have tried this on 8 dogs with amazing effects and hope you will have the same. I paid full price for this and I am in no way affiliated with Pure Paw just so you know this is from the heart. @apollospack
I rescued a pup that had been so full of fleas and malnourished that she had little hair left at all and the little fur she did have was dull. She was nearly dead upon rescue, but with this, a LOT of vet appointments, and even more TLC she looks like a completely different dog! Her coat is so full and healthy that it's hard to believe how hard her life started!!!
I was very skeptical about this product, but I tried it and was amazed at the results. I have a yorkipoo that loves to dig up critters and roll in the dirt. She’s not a dainty little dog. She likes getting dirty. I have always used the best shampoos and even cream rinse with her, but sometimes she needs baths more than once a week! I was worried about her skin and fur with that much washing. So I tried the Pure Paw Nutrition Organic Wild-Caught Salmon Oil. I’m a scientist so I don’t usually make an opinion on one test subject. But this oil obviously helped my dog. This is how I saw the benefit: 1. Softer fur that even my groomer noticed! 2. Neighbors that were used to petting her mentioning that her fur seemed softer. 3. She stopped scratching at her skin. 4. She stopped biting at her feet and gnawing on the skin. 5. In my opinion, her fur looks shinier. 6. She loves the taste. I put a few drops on her dry food and she can’t wait to eat it! In addition, I loved the customer service when I had questions about dosage for my two-year-old dog and the new puppy we will be getting soon. I would recommend this to my friends with dogs. I am buying my groomer a bottle as a gift, for her multiple dogs.
Great oil. Used Grizzly brand salmon oil for years but can't seem to find it anymore. It was good but I actually think this brand may be better. Our rottie loves it and it seems to help her itchy skin better than what we've used in the past. We are particular about the quality of what we feed our dog so I am happy to find a good quality salmon oil for her. Thanks.
