FHO surgery is not something I would put her through
I decided to officially make her part of the family then. It was after her second knee surgery (both were successful) that I learned about her hip dysplasia and was told she is not a surgical candidate. Even if she was, FHO surgery is not something I would put her through because it looks much more guarded than knee operations.
Lina is a very energetic dog. She loves squeaky toys, hiding things from me, and getting into mischief. Her nickname is "RooRoo" because she does not bark, she howls. I can say, "Where is my bad dog?" and she comes running to me howling and wagging her little nub.
She also loves car rides. People are still a work in progress, but at least she is to the point where she tolerates most women. One of her quirks is that she hates going outside without her best friend Kayleigh. I will try to find a picture of the two together. They became extremely close after Kayleigh was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and are now inseparable.
